Terms of Use
1. Introduction
This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the rental of vehicles by Four- Wheel Rentals in Dubai. It ensures clarity for customers and compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
2. Eligibility & Requirements
2.1 Driver’s License & Age
- Renters must hold a valid UAE driving license or an International Driving Permit
- (IDP) for tourists.
- Minimum age: 21 years (may vary based on vehicle category).
- Some high-performance/luxury vehicles may require a minimum age of 25 years.
2.2 Identification & Documentation
- Original passport or Emirates ID (for residents).
- Copy of visa (for tourists).
- Valid credit card in the renter’s name for security deposit.
3. Booking & Reservation
- Reservations can be made online, via phone, or in person.
- A booking confirmation will be provided upon payment of a deposit (if applicable).
- Modifications or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before pickup to avoid
- penalties.
4. Rental Charges & Payment
4.1 Rental Rates
Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available.
- Additional charges may apply for:
- o Extra mileage beyond the agreed limit.
- o Fuel (if not returned with the same level).
- o Late returns (subject to extra day charges).
- o Additional drivers (if applicable).
4.2 Payment Methods
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.).
- Cash payments (subject to approval and additional checks).
5. Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit is required at the time of rental.
- The deposit will be held until the vehicle is returned undamaged and with no traffic
- violations.
- In case of damages or fines, applicable amounts will be deducted from the deposit.
6. Insurance Coverage
6.1 Basic Insurance
- Covers third-party liability as per UAE law.
- Excess/deductible applies for own damage/theft (customer is responsible up to the excess amount).
6.2 Optional Insurance (CDW/TP)
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Reduces or eliminates the excess amount(additional fee applies).
- Theft Protection (TP): Covers vehicle theft (subject to terms).
7. Vehicle Use & Restrictions
- Prohibited Uses:
- Off-road driving (unless the vehicle is designated for such use).
- Subleasing or transporting illegal goods.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
- Violating UAE traffic laws.
- Geographical Restrictions:
- Vehicles may not be taken outside the UAE without prior approval.
8. Fuel Policy
- Full-to-Full Policy: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup.
- Failure to comply will result in refueling charges at a premium rate.
9. Maintenance & Breakdown Assistance
- Renters must ensure proper maintenance (oil, coolant, tire pressure).
- In case of mechanical failure, contact the company immediately for assistance.
- 24/7 Roadside Assistance is available for emergencies.
10. Accidents & Damage
- In case of an accident:
- Report to Dubai Police immediately.
- Contact the rental company for further instructions.
- Renters are liable for damages if found negligent.
11. Traffic Fines & Violations
- Renters are responsible for all fines incurred during the rental period.
- Fines will be charged to the renter’s deposit or billed separately.
12. Vehicle Return
- Return the vehicle on the agreed date/time to avoid late fees.
- A vehicle inspection will be conducted upon return.
- Deposit refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days after confirming no fines/damages.
13. Late Returns & Extensions
- Late returns beyond the grace period (1-2 hours) will incur extra charges.
- Extensions must be requested in advance (subject to availability).
14. Termination of Rental Agreement
The company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if:
- The vehicle is misused or driven recklessly.
- The renter provides false documentation.
- The renter breaches any terms of this policy.
15. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes will be resolved under UAE law.
- Customers may contact the Dubai Consumer Rights Department if unresolved.
16. Amendments
- Four-Wheel Rentals reserves the right to amend this policy with prior notice.

By renting a vehicle from Four-Wheel Rentals, the customer agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
